Homeschool Autumn Art Adventures

           


I'm offering 2 opportunities for homeschool artists twice a month, first and third Thursdays at my studio in downtown Barberton.  The classes are offered back to back so that siblings could participate in separate classes in one trip.  What to do with siblings who aren't participating?  The Barberton Library's Children's Department is filled with loads of hands on activities, or beautiful Lake Anna park is one block from my studio.

If you are signing up multiple siblings at the sibling price, please email me so that I can send you an accurate invoice.

            An Artistic Journey Through Picture Books: 

   Process oriented art class with picture books as the inspiration to create with different   materials in a variety of ways. We will get messy and have fun exploring our creativity!

Ages 4 - 8 years Homeschoolers

1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 2 - 3pm

Oct. 2 & 16, Nov. 6 & 13, Dec. 4 & 18

$110 for all 6 sessions and $99 for siblings

Becoming A Master of Sketching: 


Skill oriented class for young artists who want to focus on developing basic drawing skills such as lines, values, perspective and composition. For students who would like to get a bit more serious about developing art skills. Sketching is foundational to so many art forms.


Ages 8 - 12 years Homeschoolers

1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 1 - 2 pm

  Children ages 6 - 12 years are invited to join me for a full morning of joyful creating in the White Rabbit Galleries Classroom. We will stroll through the gallery for inspiration, play creative games, take movement breaks in between arting and crafting for a full morning. Each program is 9 a.m. - noon, and the cost is $35 per participant, including all materials and instruction. Children should bring an art shirt or apron or wear clothes that can get messy.
